Director of the Ukrainian State Institute of Cultural Heritage Iryna Prokopenko, at the invitation of Lviv Polytechnic National University, took part in the solemn presentation of the restored unique architectural monuments - the Assembly Hall of the main building of the university and the reading room of the old library, which will now bear the name of Julian Zakhariievych, not only the rector of the Technical Academy, as Lviv Polytechnic was then called, but also the founder of the Lviv School of Architecture, the author of the project of the main building of the university and in the late XIX century. The aesthetic pleasure of the unique restored halls was complemented by professional interest, as the Ukrainian State Institute of Cultural Heritage pays much attention to the development of scientific and project documentation for repair and restoration work on architectural monuments.
