On November 19, the Ukrainian State Institute of Cultural Heritage held a guided tour and conversation "Twenty Centuries of the Kyiv Mountains - History and Modernity" for primary school students of the Y.P. Batyuk Kyiv Special Boarding School No. 5 (for visually impaired children).

An introductory talk about the history of the City of Kyiv and the City of Volodymyr took place during a trip from the boarding school to the historical heart of Kyiv, the unique natural area of Starokyivska Hill, where the ramparts and ditches of the City of Kyiv were recreated. During the excursion along the Landscape Alley to the building of the National Museum of History of Ukraine, the students learned about the history and legends of the founding of the capital of Ukraine.

Knowing that soccer for the visually impaired has been a great success at the Paralympic Games and to attract students to this game, before the tour, the director of the UDICS Iryna Prokopenko handed the director of the boarding school Konstantin Antoniuk two special starter kits for soccer.
