On December 19, we summed up the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of creative works by children and youth "Let's Save the Heritage, Let's Save Ukraine" and presented the awards. But we would like to dwell on a few points separately. Firstly, most of the works - 39 - were sent to us by children from the Donetsk region - Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Volnovakha, Svitlodarsk. We could write "secondly," but we're just going to ask you to read a note from one of the winners, thirteen-year-old Valeria Akhnovska, a student of the Kramatorsk City Council Art School, which she attached to her work: "This is the oldest building in Donetsk. The date of the building's foundation is preserved on it - 1892. The building is 117 years old. Today, this building houses a psycho-neurological hospital. The hospital of the Rakovsky mine was also located here more than a hundred years ago. I am originally from Donetsk. My mother and I often walked by this building, I liked it in terms of architecture. I sometimes made small sketches. But unfortunately, the war started and my mom and I left there. I miss Donetsk very much and want to go back there."
